Pipetting

a) Take a sterile pipette, open the wrapper and put the rubber valve

b) Fuel burned edges on the Bunsen for a few seconds. Do not be too long because it can damage the tip of the pipette

c) Take the tube containing the bacterial culture,

open the lid with both ring and little fingers while the index finger, middle finger and thumb holding pipette.

d) Immediately insert the pipette into a test tube, rubber suction valve press the [S] (see figure below) and then immediately remove it. When inserting the pipe t try not to touch the walls of the tubes and Bunsen burners do in the near


e) Fuel return lip tube and immediately close

f) Take another test tube to be inoculated, open the lid the same way by (b) and burn his lips in the same way by (c).

g) Immediately insert the pipette into the tube before, and then remove fluid that had been inoculated from the pipette by pressing the [E].

h) Fuel tube and close the lips as a way (c).

i) Move the pipette and replace with a new pipette if will make pipetting back

j) Do it again in the same way if necessary dilution or dilution
